Thank you! Caffeine actually appeared by magic!
Tom, the google docs are a HUGE help! (I overestimated my ability to pick through selected poems on Hathi.)
I enjoyed your natural readings very much. There was no sense of anything archaic (or humorless!) in these readings.
Section 2 was word-perfect: PL OK.
Only the tiniest discrepancy found at the very end of Section 3:
10:47 ish
read: That ev'n his beams sing
written: Til ev'n his beams sing
I hate to mention this because the difference is so small and the energy of those closing lines is very nice, but of course, you choose what to do. Mark PL OK or not?

If we do meet again, why, we shall smile;
If not, why then, this parting was well made.

This has been tremendously enjoyable! There's a feeling of immediacy to these readings, like George Herbert is sending them to you in the mail.
Section 3 is PL OK!
I have a few notes, ranging from very, to mostly, trivial -- see if you agree with them, especially the heard/read?
section 4
:36
heard: I have abused thy stock
read: I have abused thy flock
8:42
heard: yet through these labyrinths
read: yet through the labyrinths
-----------------------
section 5:
when listening, I heard the volume jump a bit in the middle. Looking at audacity, around 6 minutes in, there's a second half that seems to be about 3-4 db louder than the first half ...
-----------------------
section 6:
I noticed, for what it's worth, that this section (as a whole) ends and begins with the intro and outro describing it as "part 6" instead of "section 6" like the others.
-----------------------
section 7:
The Flower, starting at 6:26, has a separate librivox short-form poem introduction
8:45 -- has a separate LV outro
From "A True Hymne"
11:16
heard: My Life, my Joy, my Crown!
read: My Joy, my Life, my Crown!
11:43
heard: to make his verse, or make a hymne
read: to make his verse, or write a hymne
-------
section 8
8:16
heard: Lord, Thy broken consort raise
read: Lord, Thy broken comfort raise
See what you think, and I'll be standing by (more or less) for any spot PLs.

Thanks much, bluechien! This is "word perfect" listening at its best. I'll get right to work.
BTW, I know about the "comfort" vs. "consort" problem in section 8. Availle and I have discussed it via PM, and although there is no doubt that the document reads "comfort," not only does it make no sense but it is contradicted in all other editions I have access to. It must have been a typesetter's error, the "long s" resembling an "f" so closely. Availle says I may correct any obvious typos.

Ah, got it. I did read something about that above but forgot or didn't know which part it was.chymocles wrote: ↑May 8th, 2020, 7:48 am Thanks much, bluechien! This is "word perfect" listening at its best. I'll get right to work.

I was hoping "too much info" is all right -- because it's really a soloist's call on what merits an edit.

The note above from section 7 still seems valid:
From "A True Hymne"
11:16
heard: My Life, my Joy, my Crown!
read: My Joy, my Life, my Crown!
I'm figuring you're fine with it and marked everything PL OK. If you agree, ready for cataloguing!

Hi! Gone from librivox too long... (Haven’t logged in for a month) I had a lot on my plate this past month. I don’t think I would have had time to finish the pl’ing. Glad it turned out the way it did though, sorry I couldn’t help that much...
Congrats on a WORD PERFECT SOLO PROJECT!
