Welcome to LibriVox! I just want to confirm, before I assign you these sections: the chapter is about the Netherlands rather than Norway. Are you still be interested in reading it? :)

In any case, please complete a 1-Minute Test before you record your first contribution, particularly a long one like these. Its purpose is to ensure that your recording software and hardware is set up in accordance with LibriVox technical standards, so that you get a chance to adjust your setup without having to redo a longer recording. The instructions can be found on this wiki page:

https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test

Thanks for volunteering! :)

Hello, Michael!

I can take the rest of Chapter IX (31 & 32) if you like. Of I can cover all of Chapter X (33 & 34) if you're trying to keep the same reader for each chapter.

Thanks!
Geoffrey

Hi, Geoffrey. I think the sections are long enough that we don't need to worry about reader continuity too much. Since you mentioned Chapter IX first, I take it you're more interested in it than Chapter X? I'm assigning sections 31 & 32 to you based on that working hypothesis. :)

I'm ambivalent. I'll start with 31 & 32 and check in when I'm finished. If no one has claimed chapter X by then, I'll just keep going. :)

Hi Tina,

Thanks for volunteering! Both these sections are open. Since you mentioned 33 first, you could start with that. :)

Since this looks like the first time you'll be assigned a section, let me know under what name (real or nickname) you would like to be credited in the catalog. We can also include a link to your personal website or blog, if you have one.

Also, we strongly recommend completing a 1-Minute Test before you record your first contribution. Its purpose is to ensure that your recording software and hardware is set up in accordance with LibriVox technical standards, so that you get a chance to adjust your setup without having to redo a longer recording. The instructions can be found on this wiki page:

If you post a notification about your test in this thread, I can check it for you.

In the meantime, I'll pencil in your claim in the Notes column.
