Hello Ava, a quick Q:

Should I read the subtitle after the chapter title?

...e.g., for Chapter 4, the title is "Moving Pictures," and the subtitle is:

"Photographing Motion—Edison's Kinetoscope—Lumiere's
Cinematographe—Before the Camera—The Mission of the Moving
Picture."
