Thanks for the appreciative article about Japan in 1896 Betty B.

Your reading is PLOK

Remember Hanseatic League, Teutonic Order and Poland? We're picking up when we stopped:

This brought back high school memories :D
Also, the character of Winkelried mentioned towards the end featured in the Polish Romantic poetry quite significantly, when some poets got it into their heads that Poland should be "The Winkelried of the Nations".

Hi again, Piotr,

I'm wondering if you have a title in mind for your selection that might be more internet searchable than the one I've put in the MW? [Northern Europe to the Beginning of the 14th Century, Part 2] --which can leave one asking "where is part 1?" [in volume 072]. I like your ebullient "Hanseatic League, Teutonic Order and Poland," and am wondering if this might work as a title, with the addition of Winkelried----i.e. "The Hanseatic League, Teutonic Order, Poland, and Winkelried." This title would certainly "hit the bases" for somebody web searching for Polish history. Would this work?

Thanks,

Actually the title of this one is "Northern Europe and the Swiss Confederation in the Fourteenth Century". Sorry, I forgot to mention that.
