PL NOTES:
SECTION 22
The recording was great! Just need to bump the volume a bit. It registers about 84.7dB and needs to be between 86-92dB. That is all. Thanks so much!

Sorry, I just remain a bit unclear about what what we do for the DRs? Do we say a voice credit for each DR, or just a general one for the whole thing? If we do credits, what do they sound like?

Yes, we need voice credits for each DR. If you look at the scripts, everything you need to record is outlined in your role's color. Take "Song of the Chattahoochee," for instance. Since you're playing the Trees, everything you need to record is highlighted in turquoise blue. At the very top, you'll see that you have to say "and xxx as the Trees." Replace the 'xxx' with your name and that's your credit! Everyone's credits will be edited into that one sentence.AdamBielka wrote: ↑March 25th, 2020, 3:15 pm Sorry, I just remain a bit unclear about what what we do for the DRs? The odd time you won't have a specific role, just a block of text to record. "The Deserted Village" is one such example. There, since you're also reading text in turquoise blue, you just need to give your name, which will come second-last in the sentence. Main thing is: if you're in a DR, you'll always have to give a voice credit in some form.

wow you have all been so prolific here
sorry for not checking the DRs yet, but I still have a lot of PL backlog and barely can record my own sections.
I had a bit of a go at two poems though, just to get me started here, so here they are:

Kate, this means that all the roles for Section 51 are in, so you can edit them together.
I was thinking, so that I have less PL work, could each of the editors also PL the parts please while they edit ? Apart from their own parts of course, I can still check those.
I will update the MW with all the links so far. This will take a bit of time, but then we see clearly which sections are ready to edit.
Thanks

Adrian, I actually assigned you the role of Barclay in this DR (I think it's what you had in your choices). Adam should have been the Broadsword and also recorded it already, I just saw this link.adrianstephens wrote: ↑March 23rd, 2020, 9:23 amhttps://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/worldsbestpoetry7_2_106_thebroadsword_various_128kb.mp3 0:14
Could you record Barclay instead ?
Thanks
