Ready for PL:

Section 13 - 14:40 https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/character_13_smiles_128kb.mp3

This one gave me a real run for the money - "work" was never so ironic. Lost a nearly completed first recording to an audacity crash and then had to rerecord.

Oh, my! Well, your second time through, the reading is probably smoother because you know the material that much better!

Actually! It was my second recording that went the way of the ether...so I had to edit my first sadly. :(

Welcome! I'll put you in for those.

Please, before starting to record these, complete the 1-minute test. This is to check to make sure your tech settings are correct - bit rate, mono, sample rate - the volume is OK, etc. It would be a shame to record a whole section, only to find out some setting was wrong that cannot be corrected so that you have to record the whole thing over again. :?

To accept a place in society-not always the place one desires; to do well the work that is near at hand-not always the work one wishes; to love and to cherish the work, and to forget oneself in the needs of others, all that is not always easy. ~JAW
