Personally, I don't think anyone's going to notice the change if you leave Chapter 2 with the long and start doing the short on chapter 3 (or even 4, if you've already been recording 3). And there's certainly no rule about it, so it's entirely up to you. :)

Section 5 is PL OK!

Nice work again.

My most demanding PL gig has only 1 section left, so from here out, I should be able to always PL your sections the first morning after they're submitted. :)

I took yesterday off instead of today, because our weather was AMAZING. Cold rain today.

Chapter 6 is fantastic. PL OK

Section 7 is PL OK

You know those certain words that have a completely different connotation now than they did 100+ years ago... this time, it was particularly entertaining with the follow on sentences feeding the modern meaning even more.

My husband asked why I was chuckling so much, and I said your project was masquerading as a steamy romance for a spell.

Yes, I understand your amusement. My wife and daughter heard me record some of those sentences. They were very interested to hear why those words were in a book written in 1874.
His daily descriptions are a bit dry, in my opinion. Not as action packed as James Beckworths autobiography.

Chapter 8 and 9 ready.

Chapter 10 ready.

A note; My 1st Sergeant in the Army was a council member of the Cherokee Nation. My Native American accent used is based on his voice. Don't know if it sounds stupid but, It's the best I can do.

Also, most of this chapter, to my disappointment, is almost word for word, Indian behavior, and council selection the same as James Beckworths description in his autobiography published 20 years before.

Hi, Claude - chapter 10 is PL OK

I think your accent work is good here, and your personal history of association with a council member is intriguing.

The similarity you note with Beckworth's autobiography has me curious!
