I too do not pre-read. I like getting hit with the surprises that the author throws my way so I can react with surprise and freshness.

Even though sometimes I have to do over as you did. In a story I recorded this weekend, about halfway through the author said that the character's voice I was then doing "continued to be low and toneless and sibilant". Well, that wasn't how I had done it up to that point. So back to the beginning and read again I went....

Thanks, Todd

Agreed. I pre-read spottily, and missed the vital clue. Oh well, serves me right.

And I'm happy to hear that the English blank verse does work well after all. The translator did a good job.

I only have a couple of notes for Act 1, the others are all PL ok

Great job. Thank you so much, Adrian. I knew you'd be perfect in the villain's role.

Thank you for your kind words, again, Sonia.

I'll have to avoid getting type-cast. Perhaps a simpering fool next.

 good luck with that. Looking forward to it. Maybe a country wench in petticoats ;) Now that would break your villain-streak.

Creon now PL ok, thanks !

I really enjoyed Sophocles version... although I found myself cheering more for Kreon than the author intended! He stood up against pressures to grant a pardon based on nepotism. Which was neat.

oh the villains often are cooler than the good guys. Here of course Creon is quite the power-hungry schemer  Excellently played by Adrian, you'll see in the final version
