Monthly Poetry: Plague Edition! (Although the one I really wanted to read needs some retakes, bah.)

All clear! Thank you so much! I think you have just the right voice and reading style for those! Very powerful! I mainly mean it for the God of pain, but I really enjoyed the little bird, too!
Aw shucks, thanks. The crisis has me in a perpetual Mood. ^^;;

A special welcome to spott! Thank you for contributing to the Poetry Collection! This is your Reader page: https://librivox.org/reader/13896
It lists all projects you've read for, so it might appear empty now, but I hope you enjoy recording and gradually fill it up!

In your current recording, text is correct, sound clarity and volume are perfect, and from the tech specs you got them all spot on, except that the track needs to be in mono (it's currently stereo). Are you using Audacity? For future recordings, you should be able to adjust the setting from the menu Edit -> Preferences -> Devices, choosing "1 (Mono)" for Recording Channels. But for this one, you'll need to "Mix Stereo down to Mono" from menu "Tracks". When exporting in mp3, you could also have the option "Force export to mono" ticked, in case it helps.
Please turn this to a mono recording (single track, instead of double) and upload again. Feel free to ask if you need any help!

I've also fixed this, and I see that you are using GarageBand. I am sorry but I am not familiar with GarageBand :oops: and I don't know how to advise you to export in mono mp3. I hope you can figure it out from the software's manual, or if in doubt, I am sure there are readers who use GarageBand, you could ask for help in the Need Help section of the forum
