Sorry this took me much longer than anticipated, but here's Section 63, The Typical Phalangers. It's 13:4.48 in length.

Thank you! It's nicely read and easy to follow.

Seems to me like you have a great setup for recording! Everything sounds really nice and clear. Enjoyed the listen!
Thanks,

Let me know if I did everything right this time.

Section 41:
*Volume is in range at just over 86 dB, but I'd suggest amplifying 2 dB to where it's more like the others. (There's a spot that'll clip if you amplify much more.)
*I still hear enough of a buzz in the background, that it'd be good to do another round of cleaning. I tried it out in Audacity to see what should work for you, and if the top number were 14 and the others at default, it should make a big difference in the buzz. But do whatever feels comfortable to you. (Did I confuse you with the number before? )
Section 42:
*End silence is now at 7 seconds... Please trim it to ~5.
The rest of the edits turned out really nicely! The buzz is cleaned up in Section 42, and in Section 41 the intro is perfect!
Thanks!

Congratulations on your first completed LV contributions!! You certainly worked hard enough on these - thanks a lot for sticking it out and going till they passed! (You'd be amazed how many people simply drop their files if they're not OK'ed the first time around.) Keep up the good work!
Thanks,
~Rosebud

Ugh, had such a time with tech issues--had to record over two different days, which created all kinds of problems for me, such as my voice being an obviously different pitch! So, please help me, PL, You're my only hope.
Thanks so much,

I am very thrilled we are this close to completing this project, WAY before the deadline.
I will be soon opening the second volume of this work, so, if anyone is interested in reading about more Living Animals, stay tuned

*Beginning silence needs shortened, as it's currently around 1.7 seconds. Anywhere from .5 to 1 second total is OK.
You know, I think I heard where it went from one day to the next, but only because I was watching for it. I've heard much more obvious change than that, and it was fine. So you're definitely OK in that aspect! Again, your reading style is super for this type of project- very understandable, and the pace is great!
Thanks! (And apologies for the delay in getting back to you!)
~Rosebud
I remembered the beginning silence after I had uploaded the file, and could have just kicked myself! I figured I'd have other corrections to make, though, so let it be. Here's the updated file, duration 31:06: https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/livinganimals1_61_cornish_128kb.mp3RSlabaugh wrote: ↑June 21st, 2020, 1:31 pmPL notes:bwaring wrote: ↑June 12th, 2020, 3:34 pm Here's Section 61, duration 31:07--
