tommack wrote: February 17th, 2020, 8:46 pm I'm a little confused on how to introduce the recording of Section 2

I was going to proceed as follows:
"The living animals of the world, Volume 1: Mammals,
by Charles Lewis Cornish, editor
Chapter 1 Apes, Monkeys, & lemurs.
Section 2: The Gorilla, The orang-utan, & The Gibbon.

The Gorilla etc as per the book
Is this OK or would you preferr something else?

Tommack
Hi, Tommack!

Thanks for asking. It should be
"The living animals of the world, Volume 1: Mammals, by Charles Lewis Cornish, editor. The Gorilla. etc."

The person who read section 1 will have read the chapter number and name. I thought that was easier because for some sections the title of the chapter is sooooo much before, it would be confusing.

Kitty wrote: February 18th, 2020, 6:35 am I also wasn't sure about the intro. So I only said "The octodonts" as this is the beginning of my chapter in the book, even though in the MW the title is much longer. I hope that was correct.

Here is the section on bunny's larger family. The rabbit gets only a few lines as an afterthought as it is apparently "too well known" what a let-down.

as promised, I will take the section on foxes next then :) (Section 22)

Thanks! Yes, that is what I had in mind for the intro. :)

Section on foxes assigned. I hope bunny doesn't listen to that one.

By the way, the author of this book has a very nice writing style - easy to read, lively and interesting. Definitely not one of those science books that make you shudder at every page-long sentence.

You're right. I didn't expect marsupials to be that interesting!

PL Notes:
Section 24-
~5:27, I hear: "...on the hills in the far south of Norway." Text: '...on the hills in the far north of Norway.'

Section 25-
~10:58, a 2 second pause

Sorry! I hate making notes when there's so little the matter! Great job with having it that close though!
