This is Section 28: Rimmon, 2:28. Let me know if there's anything glaring to fix (I did use checker and mp3gain), otherwise I'll have the other two up using the same setup in a couple days.

Very nice! Specs check, an my sample sound great!
Full PL to follow.
kelbow wrote: March 17th, 2020, 2:41 pm There's an existing librivox recording of Sussex (section 19) read by David Barnes for a previous collection. https://librivox.org/short-poetry-collection-041/

Should I still record a version or do we cross-reference his (which is quite lovely)?
Yes, we need a fresh recording for this book.
It is not unusual for a poem from a book to be used for one of the poetry collections. In fact, the same poem can be found read by different people for multiple collections. Let's see how many recordings of Poe's The Raven we have. And, the same recording can be use only one time. I look forward to having yours in our project. :D

Hi Larry and Alan,

Just one note for "The White Man's Burden", at around 0:37 the line is "In patience to abide", I hear "patient", and I leave it up to you two to decide if it needs changing as this isn't a word-perfect project, but I thought I'd mention it.

Can I claim Section 18? This is my first recording, so could my name be shown as "Amy Chen"? Thank you.

Have you completed your one-minute test yet?
You can find details on how to do that in the Newbie Guide to Recording - link in bullet point 2 of the initial post in any project forum thread. It is good to read that through because it has a lot of useful information to get you off to a good start.

We are usually more particular with poetry, but in this case I think it is okay. So, I'll mark it PL OK but if the reader wants to correct it, that is certainly fine.
