Was it spot-checked after the second upload? Sometimes the uploader might act up, or an unstable internet connection might stop the file from uploading completely, resulting in a truncated recording.
Asking David for the back-up wouldn't help because the back ups are the same files as in the catalogue, so it would be the truncated one.
The only solution is if Rita has kept her original recording to re-upload.

Sorry for intruding. I am thinking of recording for this project so I read the thread and then decided to offer my thoughts on the issue :) thanks

Thanks, Rita, as CB26 is Lynne's BC project, she will have to decide what to do about it. But I think she will need your text source and author unless she has it from the notes on that other project.

Good luck with this. I often marvel how INFREQUENTLY technical mistakes like this happen!

4:08 you say "maddened multitude", poem says "maddened thousands"
4:12 the echo answered, Fraw!, poem says Fraud!. Your 'd' disappeared.
