Thanks, Adrian! You've done a great job with him. :)

Dick - Lorenzo (and someone further on) is a little strange, with two chapters focusing on him. From your description, it sounds like you want sections 16 and 17 for now?

Yes... that's correct ... those are sections ... so just to confirm ... I should Intro it without mentioning the Chapter .. just the section as

"Section 16 of The Medici, Volume 1. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
Recording by Dick Bourgeois-Doyle -The Medici, Volume 1, by G. F. Young."

and then just launch into the relevant text

and conclude with

"End of Section 16 ... "

Thanks ..

Correct. By "relevant text," after the intro, do please read the chapter number and title - basically, start at the white space at the top of the page and read everything from there (minus footnotes). :)

Section 16 PL OK!

You read very well. Your expression, etc. are wonderful! If I may make a little suggestion for future recordings, it would be to pause a bit more, such as when there's a quote by someone. There was a passage quoted from Machiavelli; I couldn't tell where the quoted passage ended and the main body of the text picked up again. A pause of 1/2 to 1 second at such spots would give the listener an audible clue that the quote has come to an end. (I also like such pauses when there's a change of subject or scene, to give the listener's brain a chance to close out the previous scene and start the new one.) :)

Section 40:
Around 22:23-22:24, a longish pause. It's not terrible, but take a listen and see if you want to shorten it. If not, I'll mark it as OK. :)
