nice  quite a funny character, I loved the scene with Lucy. Setter is your typical plotter and schemer. Excellently acted out, Alan, thank you. This part is PL ok right away.

excellent job, Adrian. Eternally frightened Sir Wittol was quite funny to listen to  Now I almost pity you in the short scene we have together

Act 3 is already PL ok.

one PL note for Act 2:

> at 0:35: "the very remembrance makes me quake" – you say "resemblence"

PL notes for Act 4:

> at 0:43: "I've enough to say" – you say "I've had enough" which is a change of meaning here in this context, as they speak about talking to the ladies

> from 2:23-5:38: can you cut all these lines and put them in a separate file for Act 5 please ? Then Act 5 will be PL ok as well, no errors in there

thank you

Dear Sonia,
Here are the corrections:
The corrected and slimline act 4: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/oldbachelor_sirjosephwittol_4_128kb.mp3 @ 2:25
and the split out act 5:
https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/oldbachelor_sirjosephwittol_5_128kb.mp3 @ 3:27

As to being eternally frightened, if you'd been what I'd been through, agad, would you not have been? Zooks, I even lost my hundred pound.

thank you, Adrian, Acts 4 and 5 are now PL ok.

You seem to have forgotten to reupload Act 2 though, the error is still in:

And Todd: here is the epilogue, enacted by Laetitia in her usual panache, wit and a bit of a sneer:

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/oldbachelor_laetitia-epilogue_5_128kb.mp3
Recording time: 2:04 min.

Hope you like it. Nothing like insulting audience and critics a bit at the end of the show.

Sonia
What a closing! They won't leave the theater, and be howling for more! PL OK.

Thanks, Todd

 indeed, but you made up for it in the final act ;)

excellent job again, Alan. You are good at pimping  Act 4 is already PL ok but I found a small thing to correct in Act 5:

> at 1:34: "when you had seen her last?" - you say "you and I had", which is a bit bizarre to ask, she doesn't want to know about Setter

the rest is perfect  thank you

and Todd: thanks for the PL and the review :9:

Setter act 5 revised

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/oldbachelor_setter_5_128kb.mp3

I enjoyed this role. As soon as I saw it I knew it was my part. As you say perhaps I would make a good pimp

 wow now this this brilliant, Jennifer  I have chuckled all through the performance. You took the qualification "affected" quite to extremes. I loved the character. She is highly affected, but nevertheless a voice of reason and you bring out both qualities very well. She is not one to be trifled with. And I simply loved the laughs and rapid-fire comments in the first half of the act.

Can't wait to hear the rest of it. And I hope we get a courageous Bellmour soon who can take her on in this dialogue.

I do have two PL notes for you though:

> for the voice credit, could you please always read the entire description (usually marked in the MW), so the narrator doesn't have to be inserted, here: "Belinda, her cousin, an affected lady, in love with Bellmour, read by Jennifer Pratt"

> at about 3:54: missed line: "Not I; witness my heart, I stay out of pure affection."

thank you
