52 and 53 PL OK.

The end of 53 reminded me of the United (?) Negro College Fund motto: A Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Waste. One can see where and why these organizations were founded.

Thanks, Tricia!
I remember the UNCF ads with that slogan. It was an iconic phrase, and a meaningful one. Still is today, unfortunately. In fact, this morning's newspaper right here in my home city of Rochester announced on the front page yet more deep budget cuts and school closings in our already struggling city school district, where the childhood poverty level is one of the worst in the nation. The Kerner Report is still relevant, because the things it talked about are not ancient history.

Here's Section 54 - (Ch 17 - Recommendations for National Action, part 5) - (length 25:49)

Yay! Thanks! PL OK. :)

I plan on orphaning the 2 remaining sections and 1 with edits needed this weekend, probably Sunday.

I blush to admit that I don't know what "orphaning" means.
