Finally got this line fixed for you
Pat and I were re-listening to the old one and we busted up laughing because the tone was totally "Who's that Pokémon? It's... Mr. Anderson!" XD
This take is much better, I think.
Also, I had edited the summary a bit - here is the final form:
"A Mysterious killer—Man? Beast? Or devil?—spreading terror throughout a nation, flouting law and lawless alike … Curious GOINGS-ON in a house rented immediately upon the death of its owner … A WARNING to leave the house, underlined with threats of death … A SHADOW bearing one gleaming eye [ … ] Wouldn’t You Like to Know – What happens when the indomitable Miss Van Gorder refuses to be frightened from the house of murder? What nerve-shaking word is spelled out by the Ouija board? [ … ] Who is the stranger who arrives half dead? Who is the Bat?” ~ from the ad in the book. Originally published in 1926, Rinehart's entertaining mystery offers suspense and humor, and you will see evidence of that era's Asian xenophobia and Prohibition in the United States. Pretty exciting to have this finished up! (barring any corrections you find)
I've worked up the cover and requisite files - NOTE TO SELF TO ADD THE RUN-TIME and re-save the PDF before zipping and submitting! (That's purely for self-prompting, zero impatience intended toward your work load!)

You can figure the duration by highlighting all of the completed section files in your file explorer (or whatever it's called on your computer). Am I saying this clearly? Highlight them all like you were going to copy the whole lot of them. It will flash up the total duration of the files.
Are you doing some sort of edit to what was submitted? It still sounds odd ... although all in one voice now. There is a blip in the word "connivance". I can make out what is intended, but it's not as smooth as everything around it ...
