Oh, no! It looks like I may have been. I have two different versions on my tablet. Let me see...
Grrr. Yes. I'll look at fixing Chapter 3 and make sure I use the correct ebook from gutenberg from now on.

Were there any differences that you noticed in the first two chapters? Oh, you said you didn't follow along with the first two. Well, I will compare them and look for differences in the first two as well... I'll let you know when I get it all sorted.

Ugh!!!!!! Too. Many. Differences. Oops. I'll never make that mistake again for sure. Looks like I will be redoing them.

I'm so sorry. I learned a lesson as well. Even when it's standard PL always check the first section of a solo with the text.

Don't worry, it's not your fault. I'm really amazed that so many changes were made when it was reprinted at a later date. (I have three different texts of the same book on my iPad.)

April,
Chapter 1 is PL OK.

The only cc I can provide is a comment as to your pacing. When dialog starts a paragraph you leave ~.5 seconds of pause between paragraphs. Afterwards you continue with this length of pause for a bit and then the pause shortens again. Sometimes the shorter pauses between paragraphs sounds rushed to my ears.

Thank you. Just want to make sure I understand. So, there is longer pauses in between dialogue and the rest of the paragraph (~.5 sec which sounds good), but after that my sentences are closer together (a little rushed sounding)?

I know, it's so different for a listener as it is for the reader. Since I've gone over the same words a half dozen times at least it's easy to rush things.

April,
Chapter 4 is PL OK.

I'm looking forward to what type of trouble she's going to get into next. Leave her alone, oh my.
