Dave -

So here are:

Chapter 22 (23:05)

https://librivox.org/uploads/craigdav1/roughroad_22_locke_128kb.mp3

Chapter 23 (23:56)

https://librivox.org/uploads/craigdav1/roughroad_23_locke_128kb.mp3

Chapter 24 (25:15)

A not unexpected conclusion! However, the good writing overcomes the mawkishness and the rather laboured propaganda. I enjoyed reading it.

I've done the introduction, which I hope you think is OK - and I trust that is it -

I've just embarked on reading a book for an organisation called calibre.org.uk who produce audiobooks specifically for British blind or partially sighted people - so I'll pause from Librivox for a while. However, I will be back and send you a PM when I do come back in the hopes you will help me again. Meanwhile, many thanks, as always.

Simon

22 PL OK.

Have fun at calibre.org. Maybe not so much that you don't come back at least occasionally.

24 PL OK.

I'm going to be in Scotland in June. I hope I can understand their spoken English as well as I did your imitation of it. Over the phone I've been hopeless.

My Scottish accent is remembered (inaccurately) from my grandmother and is the polite Edinburgh version. You might well have more difficulty understanding the Glaswegian variety for instance . . .

Many thanks, Dave, as always!

I'm sure it won't be long before I'm back in touch - quite possibly with another book by the under-rated Mr Locke -
