So if the chapters begin like this, do we read all of the this opening stuff?
BOOK IV.
OF THE OPERATION OF OPINIOK IK SOCIETIES AKD INDIVIDUALS.
CHAP. I.
OF RESISTAKCE.
Subject of the fourth book.—First branch of the subject.—Question of resistance stated.—Resistance of a nation.—Ambiguity of the term nation.—Case of a military subjection considered.—Resistance of a majority—of a minority.—Further ambiguity of the term nation.

Hi,
Yes, please read all of it as it is in the book.
Thanks,

PL Notes Section 31 - Tyrannicide

Thank you for this recitation.

I noticed no "repeats" or missing text but my ear did notice a few unusual pronunciations in this offering but nothing that would mess up the meaning of the text. Well done!

There are a couple of "structural" problems, tho:
1. Checker shows the volume to be 73.4 well below the 90.1 which is normal.

2. There should be 5 seconds of silence after the end of the recording, but there is less than 1 second.

3. Along with the link of the file you uploaded should be the LENGTH (time-wise) of the file.

Section 34 PL Notes

Still another good recitation, Jim.
Side comment: on text page 160, Godwin launches into a description of INsincerity in order to bring out the features of sincerity. He perfectly describes what we nowadays call "Man Lies". Then he talks about the confessions of "body language". The guy was way ahead of his time!

I noticed two things probably worthy of fixing:

22:11 heard: "is more adverse courage and energy,"
s/b: "is more adverse to courage and energy,"
the word "to" is missing.

[22:43] in the Rousseau quote:
"the great duty of man [may] be to do no injury to
[may] is missing.

Just to be sure I am not misunderstanding you: THIS file cannot be accepted AS-IS. Not only should you adhere to these guidelines "going forward" but RIGHT NOW you need to correct these features. The very first message in this project (and every other project, too!) is called the "FIRST POST" and it is a complete picture of the guidelines pertinent to the project. Everything you need to know is there. The contents of FIRST POSTS are generated programmatically after years and years of experience.

Hi,
I will assign you Sections 38 and 39. How would you like your name to appear in the catalog?
Cheers,
Amy
