I'd like to read section 27 Napolini's Error. Please credit me as Caroline Kiley
Certainly Caroline it is yours to read & thank you for claiming! I will make certain to put you in the mw as reader for that section.
April
I have assigned that section to you though since you have not read much before and I am relatively new at being Bc, I do think it best if Sonia, who is the Mc puts you in the correct way. Please do know that it is your section so feel free to record...
April
Well, I suppose that I am actually the Mc and Sonia is the Bc. Silly little letter anyhow. If Sonia has not picked up on this by tomorrow I will be surprised.

 You were right the first time. BC stands for book coordinator (the one who launches a project), and MC stands for meta coordinator (the admin who sets up the MW and does all the technical stuff including cataloging at the end). It’s easy to get some of these terms mixed up!!

Time 1:57

PL notes:
Beginning silence should be cut to 0.5 - 1 second. You have around 1.5 seconds.

Otherwise your reading is great! Thank you! :)

Time : 3:14

PL notes:
Volume is just below our range at 85.7 dB. Could you amplify by about 3 dB, please? Thanks!

And sorry for taking so long to get back with you!

Here is the poem, number 29, Contentment in Nature.

https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/cobwebsfroalibrary_29_bangs_128kb,mp3.

01:45.

:D

May I do Number 56, Ode to a Politician.
PL OK

Your file name is missing an ‘m’, but I think Sonia can fix this during cataloging. For easier file naming in the future, you might try copy and paste from the first post, then change the ## to section number. (Or perhaps you did and somehow something got changed in process?)

Nevertheless, good job with your reading!

April, as BC you can also open up new reader pages, you don't have to be MC for that. I think I have given you the step-by-step already. I can show you once again if you wish :)

Caroline, I have opened your personal reader page for you now, here it is: https://librivox.org/reader/13794
You can see all your projects listed there (just this one for the moment) and you can check which sections you have claimed and which still need reading or have PL notes. It's quite handy to keep track of all your claims and projects.

Have fun with your first section.

there was actually a lot more wrong in the file name than a simple missing 'm' ;) indeed the best way to assure the correct spelling of the filename is to copy/paste from the example in the first post, like Rose advised.

I changed the file name now in the folder and the MW. Maybe you want to re-download to check whether all is well :)

thanks for your diligence, Rose

Rose, these three filenames also had a spelling error ("form" instead of "from") I changed them as well, so maybe you want to recheck those three as well from the MW, just to make sure the correct sections are in.

Please readers, be extra careful with the filenaming, it's very important, that's why we have the example in the first post.

Thanks

Sonia,
Yes, I do recall your having given me the step by step in past days. I could get a new reader in though their reader page for their perusal is the part I do not recall.
Thank you,
April

I think we may have done that tutorial via chat. I will email you soon to explain once more :) it's really not that complicated.

see you soon

Sorry for not having noticed the mistake on these 3! Thanks for catching it!

I checked all 4 for which you changed file names, and everything is good. Thanks!

Hello!

Here's number 30:

https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/cobwebsfromalibrarycorner_30_bangs_128kb.mp3

Here's number 31:

https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/cobwebsfromalibrarycorner_31_bangs_128kb.mp3

I'm not sure I got the amplification right on this one because it wasn't allowing me to amplify much without clipping. If there's a problem, I'll redo this one.

Thanks,
Nishtha
