*sob* this is getting quite emotional near the end. Though in the middle, I think the doctor is having some moments of uncaring. For him it's only a case-study. Excellently played out, Alan, till the end.

PL ok :) thank you so much. Really a good role.

The correction for Sibyl Beach is just the one "oh" inserted at 6:57. File is now 11:13.

yes sorry about this little detail, but it was an important "oh !" 8-) nicely inserted. And PL ok now. Thanks, Beth.

Edward Beach is in the MW ready for PL.

I knew this play was the most serious of the three in the Adams book, but I did not know it was like this. Whew - I better go back over to the land of farce for a while....

Thanks, Todd

awww now this is a really nice young man :9: and you presented him with the needed feeling and sensitivity (apart from the first scene where he was a tiny bit horny for kisses  ). I really loved the performance. And totally PL ok. Thank you so much, Tomas. (now over to the Big Drum, to hear the complete opposite, our ill-bred son  )

I love the way that the author, in his introduction, bemoans the fact that he can't find anybody to put the play on. I wonder what the first audience thought, having been led right up until the very last page to think they were attending a light comedy. Then he hits them between the eyes.

The theater managers that were pummeled in response to the shocking ending probably forced Adams to write the alternative happy ending which he would not now publish.

Pinero also had a play we did where he said in his written intro that he was publishing it with the original serious ending he wrote rather than the happier ending it was staged with.

yes this ending was especially tearful and draining for you as the grieving father. :( I know how I would feel if I had to do such a role. But you played it excellently and so believably emotional. It's a perfect performance.

Thanks, all of Beach is PL ok. Great job, Todd. And a light farce may be just the thing to counterpoint this grief now.

I see Acts 1 and 2 are already ready for assembling  That went fast ! Now only waiting for two Kathie-acts :9:

Act 3 is almost done, too. Just have a bit of editing to do on it still.

super, thank you TJ. Awwww Kathie is really in despair here, so believably acted out. Quite emotional. Well done. And PL ok.

This gives us Act 4 to complete. Wow, we're really progressing nicely here. :9:

Merry Christmas to the whole troupe !

All acts assembled except for Act 3 Kathy. Need to groom them for volume and timing before PL.

What a story! What wonderful acting from you all!

Thanks, Todd
