Uploaded for spot check. Throat clear zapped.

Judging by the many volumes he wrote I cant imagine what he might have missed except perhaps, Antarctica. I believe he died in 1926 and an associate worked on publishing the remaining books until 1930.

Betty,
You are PL OK through 21.
On 22, please check for a repeat at 6.21 "all that a Mohammedan has to do ... "

I seem to have run into a 'slight" problem concerning missing pages. Chapters 26 and 27 are missing pages from the end of 26 and the beginning of 27.

I have been unable to turn up any other copies in Hathitrust or Archive.
I did find one on Amazon for $10 which I am happy to buy if that seems to be the only solution....
Any suggestions?

I have gone ahead and ordered the book and it will take 1-2 weeks to arrive.
Would you mind if I launched another FGC solo while the other is on hold?
Thank you.

NOOOOOOO!

Oh I am so sorry that I didn't see this earlier. There is a copy in the library at Wheaton College and I could have scanned and sent you the missing pages.

Any chance you can cancel the order?

I am so so sorry, but I thought you knew I had a copy because I was scanning photos for the cover ...

(And you can of course have more than one book underway ... we try to discourage newer readers from doing that, because they may not know what they are getting into, but you are a veteran with books and books and books under your belt ... I have no fear that you will over-commit!)

No, that's its absolutely fine. Its quite a lovely book.
After recording so many of his books I am really happy to have an actual physical copy in the house to show family and friends what I read.
It has already arrived, much ahead of schedule, and I have finished reading and uploading all chapters this afternoon.
Also, thank you for launching the new selection.

I am going to download a few chapters in the Australia book and then disappear for ten days.
Hubby and I are going to LA to live at the beach and dog-sit for our kids.

Wow, sounds wonderful! Have fun!

I'll get these files downloaded so I can listen on my commute.

Classes are getting busy again, with projects due for my quarter classes. Bah humbug. But I'm enjoying learning!

Betty,
Would you check 2 things on 26?
There is a longish pause at 3.54 that made me look up.
And at 11.32, I couldn't tell if "the Lloyds of Lloyds" was supposed to be that name, or a repeat.

Thanks.

I have fixed the pause on 26 and the text reading was correct. Marked it PL OK so you wouldn't have to deal with it.

Great. I'll get working on the cataloging. I plan to use the picture of the girl (from the book) for the cover.
