And I think that, once compared with the most ancient source, the 1826 text may be the closest to the original that I have seen around so far. If possible, I would choose this one: I would read it as it is.

I did a search for this "paroissien" and found one from Paris clearly dated 1842, so could we take this source ? https://archive.org/details/paroissiencomple00unse/page/96/mode/2up
I checked the text and there is only one word different (tam instead of jam) and if you think that is a typo you can well change it. One word doesn't matter.
So with this text source we are definitely on the safe side and it's even easier to read from

I have made an attempt at the Stabat Mater.
I have changed "illi" with "sibi", as this is what appears in most sources that I have seen, and it might also make more sense.
I have attributed the poem to Jacopone da Todi, although the source does not seem to mention any name for any text unless they are from the Bible. Furthermore, although the poem is traditionally ascribed to Jacopone da Todi, this is uncertain and disputed (much of what was produced in convents at the time was circulated anonymously). I have seen that on Librivox Jacopone da Todi has already been credited with the Stabat Mater, so I hope it is OK.
I have read the poem as a dirge, with ecclesiastical Latin pronunciation and Italian accent, trying to catch the spirit of a 13th century spiritualist Franciscan fraticello who believed the pope was the antichrist and the end of the world was near

wow, thank you for your three great submissions, Liber 
they are all three PL ok straight away. And that means you filled up the last slots in the MW, and this project can get archived now. 
Careful sometimes with your volume though. I notice that the volume in the intro/outro is sometimes very low but the poem is almost "screamed". It may hurt the listeners' ears (it did mine) when they crank up the volume to adjust to better hear the intro, and then all of sudden you start the poem in loud voice.
I nearly got a heart attack 
It's ok for this time, but it's best if the volume overall stays more or less the same. In Audacity you can see this very well in your wave-pattern. If you check some of your poems, you will notice what I mean. See the difference in the waves in the intro and then in poem later on ?
In any case, worthy additions all !!!
I will update the MW a little bit now and then Todd can archive the whole project. And there will be a new one launched soon !
