AnasYousef971 wrote: December 18th, 2019, 10:38 pm Hello,

I'd like to claim "Making Speeches," section 10, please.

It's my first time recording, and AnasYousef would be fine as the name posted. :)

OK I'm new to this. Do I start recording, or is there something else to do first?
Now that you've been assigned to this section, you may begin recording.
This is a long piece for a first recording, but if your confident to do it, go ahead.

Just click on you name in the Magic Window to see your catalog page.
This is where you can track all of your LibriVox work.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Sounds good.

Officially there is a two-month deadline, but it is always good to get recordings in sooner. Don't feel under any pressure. Just glad to have you participating!

Dear silverquill,

Thanks for the message. I started yesterday. It's the first chapter I've recorded so I'm making sure I get the words exactly right putting it together.
Have a great Xmas.
Kind Regards,

Hi silverquill,

As we discussed in the private message, attached is a short first minute or so of the chapter. Could you please let me know if I'm on the right track or if there are any changes you need me to make before recording the entire chapter.
Please and thank you

Oh, you are dfinitely on the right track, Paul.

All specs check out, including volume. There recording is clean and well read.
So, go ahead and read the whole chapter, get the intro in there, and make sure you leave 5 seconds of silence at the end, and give the file length when you post it, and I think you'll be in fine shape! Thanks so much for taking this careful approach. You sound good!

Hello Paul,
Great work on section 14!

There are two small things to fix.
-Please decrease opening silence to less than 1 second.

-15:30 – "End of chapter. This recording is in the public domain."
This should be: End of chapter 14.
You likely picked up the ending you read from a poetry project. All the intros/endings are very similar but you’ll need to verify each one with the initial post in the project.
