Hi:

My first children's poem.

End of Bad Sir Brian Botany
By A. A. Milne (1882 – 1956)

Read by Dale Grothmann
Time 3:25

Audio at --

I have somehow lost the text. Perhaps I am tired. I will edit this post later.

Thank you

I may have made an error. When We Were Very Young is a best-selling book of poetry by A. A. Milne. It was first published in 1924. I will submit this with the understanding that you will not take it if it is not yet out of copyright.

Sorry

Hi Dale,

"When We Were Very Young" will be PD on January 1st, 2020. So a week and a half and you will be free to submit it! However, this collection is not for poetry. So when it is PD on January 1st, you can submit it to one of the poetry collections! :-)

Thanks!
Maria

Thank you! Well, I've done that a few times (forgot posting) so maybe it was high time to be on the recipient's end

Hi Chad,

You have already contributed the maximum of 4 allowed for this volume. I will have to hold this one over to the next collection. It should be sometime soon! :-)

Hi Maria

I see there is only one slot left to fill this up, so I recorded a short tale by H.C. Andersen. It's my first time participating in the children's collection, so I hope it is suitable, despite the obvious moral at the end.

"The buckwheat" by Hans Christian Andersen
Text source: https://archive.org/details/TalesForTheYoung/page/n21/mode/2up
https://librivox.org/uploads/m8b1/csw033_buckwheat_ss_128kb.mp3
Recording time: 5:15 min.
