I'm going to be away and have no access to my recording setup for about a week.

Have a good trip. I'll see if I can track down our DPL while you are away!

Both the messages I sent him are still in the Outbox. :(
He must not have logged on.

He hasn't logged back in to the forum since Sept 24th. I've removed him as DPL and put the tilde back on the thread until we get a new volunteer.

Here's the link for the template if you want to post in Listeners Wanted for a new DPL.

I might fall a day or two behind from time to time. I'm editing Crime and Punishment and we are so close, that when a new narrator file comes in I drop everything else.

If you can live with that then I can DPL for you.

Preface, and chapter 1 are both PL OK!

Wonderful reading.

Optional PL Note for Chapter 2.
This is a very minor hiccup; likely from editing. I’m listing it because your readings are so clear and clean this caught my ear.
15:12 stumble – and ha and missed her.

Btw: I love your change of tone and pacing when giving the list of causalities. Very respectful.

That’s all for the day. My cat has taken over most of the desk to position herself between the monitors and keyboard (which I’ve had to move to make room). Apparently, it’s time to play.

More tomorrow!

Thanks muchly, Linny! I will repair the item you mention.

And now, Chapter 8 is hailing its collier at its secret rendezvous! :D

Chapter 3
You’ve been saying “end of chapter #”. For this one you didn’t include the #. It’s up to you if you want to change it.

Chapter 4 is PL OK.

Chapter 5 - End of chapter. No #.

Chapter 6 - End of chapter. No #.

Chapter 7 - End of chapter. No #.

I’m at my folks today waiting on repair and delivery people. I can’t update the MW from my iPad but I’ll take care of it when I get home this afternoon.

I'm not worried about those notes - the phrase simply signals there's no more "meat" in the file; time to change to the next one!

And you're doing a great job of catching up! Thank you!

Excellent news! Now I don’t need to bother with that note. :D

Chapters 8 and 9 are both PL OK. I haven’t checked specs on 8 and 9 but I’ll do that when I get home. All the others have been fine so I don’t anticipate any issues there.

Section 2 is spot check PL OK.

Sections 10 and 11 are both PL OK. That sure was some picnic!
