Thank you! Though I am only BC and not DPL on this project, I listened to section 12 so I could assure you that it is more than "decent." In fact your recording is clear and enjoyable!shashankjakhmola wrote: ↑October 21st, 2019, 11:22 pm 12 (16:38) - https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/redwallflower_12_warner_128kb.mp3

I have not run the technical checks, but there is just one PL note from listening that another listener may not catch. I am familiar with this book, so I noticed that the opposite meaning came across at one point when two words were changed around.
At 12:50 you read, "She was NOT like a little sister." Instead the book reads, "Was she not like a little sister?" Meaning that he thought of her as a little sister at that point, which is quite important in interpreting his actions. Do you mind fixing that one sentence and resubmitting this chapter?

I did run them both through checker but haven't had time to PL either of them. Technical side looks great! Hannah, I'm great with you taking PL responsibility for 12. Your note on the "decency" makes me eager to listen to 17.HannahMary wrote: ↑October 22nd, 2019, 12:01 pmThank you! Will you take more? *with a hopeful look* I've enjoyed listening to you!

I would love to. It is an easy and interesting book to read.
However I am going to be off the air for about 10 days due to a trip to hospital. I hope to be up and ready by about the 8th November. So when I get home, if there are still chapters to be recorded I will take them with enthusiasm.
Cheers

Was meant to record XXVII, but mistakenly ended up recording XXXVII (Thankfully realised it at the last moment).
Anyways, consider this a surprise gift.

~8:34-37 overlong silence
~11:24-27 overlong silence
Volume is at 86.6 dB which is in the target range, but could use an amplification of 2 to match the rest better.
Section 28: PL OK
Section 37 PL notes:
~16:08-11 overlong silence
Good work on these! I enjoyed the listen
