Section 23 has been posted, thank you.

Thanks!
Only your file name should be: greatepochs_vol1_##_halsey_128kb.mp3 (all lower-case) where ## is the section number (e.g. greatepochs_vol1_01_halsey_128kb.mp3)
(File names for each project are shown in the very first post together with all other instructions.+

For this time I have re-named your file, so you need not re-upload, just keep this in mind for future to check the requested naming in the first post. Please also always post the length of the recording with the link.

Howdy from Texas!

Sorry for the lateness. Life intervened with a CABGx3 in November. Just now getting somewhat recovered.

How did it get so late so soon?
It’s night before it’s afternoon.
December is here before it’s June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.

That being said, I'd like to do

22 The expedition of Coronado to the Southwest (1540-1541): Coronado's own account 3391 w'

It appears to be full of typos and approximations. I'll try to make it sound like real English, even though I'm sure it was originally in Spanish....

Some quaint arcane expressions here. I may sound confused in some places.

As it happens, this is the second take. Something went worng and the first recording of this piece was lost. Has happened to me before. I think it's because of some update....

Moving right along, I'd like to do

24 The death of de Soto (1542) by one of de Soto's companions 903 w

I've actually driven a de Soto. Many years ago. Belonged to my great-grandparents.

Hi, Jim!
You sure will, I have no doubt about that.
Could you please check if you uploaded the correct file? I listened to your recording and it ends abruptly at exactly 5:00 minutes, while the text is only halfway-through. There is also a coughing and clapping (to mark the place for edits, I suppose) - this made me think that probably you did upload some half-done version of the reading?

I kept getting images of Watergate -- Oh, and the last scene in "El Cid."
