Yes, indeed! You have a perfect voice for reading these poems! I hope you enjoyed recording! Here's your Reader Page in the catalogue: https://librivox.org/reader/13615

My only comment about your recordings concerns the filename, it needs to end with _128kb.mp3, but I can rename the filenames, so nothing you need to do now; just letting you now for future uploads!

Thank so much, Rapunzelina! I’ll remember to add the 128kb in the future! And I’ve got one more coming in a an hour or so, if that’s ok...

Hi again-

More diversity, and a new poem

The Legend Of Immortal Truth.
By
Ambrose Bierce writing as Dod Grile.

Read by Dale Grothmann
File length 5:05

Text at
http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/12793

Audio at
https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/spc195__legendofimmortaltruth__dg_128kb.mp3

I am not entirely sure this is not an indictment of Organized Christianity. Or not. Perhaps.
See what you think.

Thanks

Awesome!

I'm not analyzing the poem, but I believe Bierce is capable of an indictment of Organized Christianity

(I tweaked the filename to make it spc196)

A few autumn-themed ones from me. Both Alfred Austin and Robert Bridges held the post of Poet Laureate of the United Kingdom. Apparently Austin isn't very well regarded in the poetry world...

An Autumn Picture by Alfred Austin (1835-1913)

Duration: 1:23

October by Robert Seymour Bridges (1844-1930)

Duration: 1:22
MP3 URL: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/spc196_october_ik_128kb.mp3

To Autumn by William Blake (1757-1827)
Text URL: https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.95620/page/n58
Duration: 1:43

A third poem from me:

Italia by Oscar Wilde (1854-1900)
Text URL: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/1057
Duration: 01:11
MP3 URL: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/spc196_italia_rm_128kb.mp3

Also, I draw your attention to an error in the MW which is due to my earlier mistake: section 34 should not be titled 'Rome Unvisited' but rather 'San Miniato'. Sorry about that.
