I really would like to do some of Alexander, could we please share some of the sections? To specify, I did say i would like to do them all, i was just wondering if the first one was up for discussion.
Thank you,

Hello, Jamin
You can do as much Alexander as you want, since you can open your own project of the Life of Alexander if you wish to! I just recommend that, before you do that, you get to know the community a little and how things work here, including how projects work, and doing the 1-minute test, as I mentioned before. It is important to read the guides and follow the directions, since that is how we ensure everything works smoothly among so many volunteers in this very international community. So, for example, in collaborative projects, sections that have been claimed and assigned are not up for discussion. That is true for all group projects, as you can see around the forum. Also, claims should be made specifically, and new readers have to give us the name/pseudonym to be included in the catalog, as stated in the first post of all group projects.
But also we are very welcoming of multiple versions of the same project, what we call "choice of voice"!
So, any book can be recorded multiple times, provided we have readers passionate about them! My suggestion for you is, then, to go ahead, do your 1-minute test (
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test), try a few sections in other projects (the weekly poetry, for example, or other short sections) and then just do the whole of the Life of Alexander (or the whole of the volume!) as your own personal project. For this one collaborative version, dpbrown has claimed them.
All the best,
