Hmmm. It would be nice to have them even a LITTLE closer to the same. Now it sounds like two completely different names.
I wonder which is more accurate.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing.
In checking the various pronunciation sites, I can fine only a Welch accent that sounds anything like mine. Most have it closer to yours with accent on the first syllable. Not a huge deal for me to change mine, so I will take care of that and repost.

The name is from French and is pronounced 'lalaj' with a soft j as far as I knowsilverquill wrote: ↑January 6th, 2020, 11:28 pmYeah, I'm thinking the same thing.

Well, time to finish Politian, so her is revised Scene 2 and Scenes 3-5.
Lalage is actually Greek in origin, not French, and so I had given a Greek pronuniation. (It come from lageow, meaning to babble), but the French pronunciation seems to be most common, so I've changed it to that. Castiglione has a slight variation, pronouncing the last syllable, but I thinik it is fine. Love your rendition of The Voice, Tricia! Actually, we had a great cast for this, and I think it sounds great together!
I didn't upload the stage direction lines separately, and there seem to be some other extraneous lines in the MW, but that's your department. If these pass, all we need is that one section of Notes. If needed, at some point, I can record that as well so we can get this out the door.

All 4 PL OK. I think Castiglione's pronouncing the name differently doesn't detract much.
I entered the sections into the MW and assigned the readers. bdanzige, would you please double check the section assignments, to be sure I assigned the right scenes to the right readers?

Section 24's claim is up today. I've recorded it and am uploading now. Is anyone around to do a quick PL?
