A Christmas Miscellany 2019 by Various ( - ).

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/a-christmas-miscellany-2019-by-various/
Nine stories about Christmas or around Christmastime. ( david wales)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.fadedpage.com/showbook.php?pid=20170341
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Let me know if any changes are needed. I am traveling and will be online most but not every day. The week of the 25th I will not be online.

Titles entered. Will add the metadata a bit later. The Deacon Tubman story I recorded in another collection, but I re-recorded it for this one.

Hope your travels went well. Staring at Mount Iliamna right now. Top half is snow covered. Has not erupted since the 50s.

Hope your trip is delightful. We had a great time in Santa Fe. Several thunderstorms with buckets of rain, lightning, and thunder. Quite beautiful and impressive. Just remembered that I had also previously recorded the More William chapters but I re-recorded them for this collection. :)

Will listen to these soon. Forest fires closed the only road yesterday. It opened today, but it took forever to get to our next stop.

2 PL OK.

They are apparently common when there are dry spells. Hiked to a glacier last night. Sun sets late here.
