Well, better late than never! That was fun! (and harder than it seemed at first!) I love a challenge, Thank you for working on this, Twinkle!

Tomorrow, I will see if any of my older kids will want to record as well...but no promises haha :D

Hi, Twinkle! I'm just checking in from over at the Christmas Carol Collection, where I've got a slot in the MW saved for "The First Nowell" -- and looking forward to it with great anticipation!

You're already doing all the work of editing together this chorus, so I hate to ask you for any extra bit of work. But I'm hoping you won't mind doing me a favor. It would be a huge help to me, when you upload this carol, if you'd be so kind as to include a list of the singers. It would save me a lot of time not having to scroll through the entire thread "First Nowell" searching for all the names. Just the forum names will do, as those are the names I'll need to enter in the MW.

Thank you so much for organizing this chorus!

Also, just wanted to let you know that the Carol Collection deadline has been extended an extra day, to Friday Dec 20th.

Oh yay! I may or may not be able to record.... I really want to but I don't have a ton of free time and I've been requested to keep up better with my editing work for a project... Well, we'll see how it turns out. Fingers crossed

I've just finished my recording, I'll edit and adjust the levels during my smokos at work, then upload it tonight when I get home.

Well, I was hoping to record this when my voice is not so hoarse, but I ran out of time... ooops. Well, I take comfort in knowing that my voice will be drowned out by the choir...

Ok, just posted the first of 4 from our family - agcaine. This is my first time doing a group Christmas carol, so I'm happy to receive correction or criticism and will try to turn around a fix today, since it's the last day on the calendar!

Three more coming as I master them.

EDIT: I also found a slight synchronization problem in this file; reposted with a fix here: https://librivox.org/uploads/dlolso21/firstnowell-2_agcaine.mp3
