Okay, I just heard this song on the radio and now I think I may have messed up on the "to the No-o-orthwest..." and "in His Pre-e-esence..." in the singalong file. :( Oh, well; hopefully this doesn't bother anyone else as much as it bothers me. I know there must be different ways of singing it because i KNOW I heard a version where it was sung "to the No-o-orthwest..." :hmm:

Anyway, let's keep doing it the same way we have been. :)

We always sing "to-o the -e North West" and "I-in Hi-is Presence" but I followed what you'd written so that we're all literally singing form the same hymn sheet.

I can't help getting some of the tune on my recording so let me know if it's not usable. (Posting soon.)

Ah, thanks. Yeah, that's great. :) Hope it doesn't trip too many people up.

i just wanted to chime in on this:
i never sung this song before, but i know it from tv movies.
it is absolutely beautiful, and that you took upon you the hard work of singing a singalong file, mixing up all the sung recordings, bcing this...
that is worth a big thank you!
and, to mention it a second time: you even teached me (and others, as i read) this song..
i didn't even know the text and thought about it a great deal....
king of israel...?
well, thank you :-D
cheers

Here's my version. I've been singing this song since I was probably 5 or 6, so I know it very well. Unfortunately I don't have the best singing voice (it used to be better! ) So I think I'll stick to mostly speaking parts! But it was fun being a part of it.

Ok, here's my version... I haven't known this song before, so thanks to schrm and merendo07 and of course Twinkle 88 to lead me to this project. It was fun to record it :-). And thank you, Twinkle88, for your patience. I had some other projects running in the last weeks and a cold... so I hope it isn't too late.
