What power to move events a few words can have! From Wikipedia: "The Zimmerman Telegram was a secret diplomatic communication issued from the German Foreign Office in 1917 that proposed a military alliance between Germany and Mexico."

Your source, "docsteach" is one I hadn't seen before. It looks like a good source to explore for readings!

Hi Craig, Thanks for reading this text by Justin Martyr!

It was new to me. Some of what Justin wrote so long ago struck me as being true even today, particularly when he says that people should be judged by their deeds, not their name [or, updated for today's world, by their name, their color, their religion, or preferences, etc.] "Wherefore we demand that the deeds of all those who are accused to you be judged, in order that each one who is convicted may be punished as an evil-doer, and not as a Christian; and if it is clear that any one is blameless, that he may be acquitted, since by the mere fact of his being a Christian he does no wrong." (page 12)

There are only a couple of edits needed. Both occur on page 18:

at 25:30, text reads "If thy right eye offend thee, cut it out" You said "hand."

at 26:44, text reads " For what shall I say, too of the countless multitude of those who have reformed intemperate habits..." You said "refused"

I can see that it originates from a U.S. government site: https://www.uscourts.gov/. Generally speaking, material originating from the U.S. Government is in the public domain, but to be sure about this case summary I would like to be able reach the court case myself, by accessing it through the U.S. government site.

Could you please tell me the "route" through which you navigated on the web to reach this source. I can see there is a page on the uscourts site called " https://www.pacer.gov/ for accessing electronic files; but I also also see that I would have to sign up for an account to use it. I also see there is a charge for accessing "Pacer" and that there is a disclaimer under the

To be honest, I have been following this case since the district court decision and just used the name I knew to find the .gov link through Google when this appellate opinion dropped. You can get there through the main site as well!
