Love Stories #1 by Michele Fry ( - 0).

This project is now in our catalog at https://librivox.org/love-stories-volume-1-by-various/
Here are 20 love stories under an hour each, covering all kinds of experiences involving romantic or other kinds of love resulting in heartbreak or happiness -- where the heart overflows with passion, pride, emotion or wonder. ( ~ Michele Fry)
  • For those looking for love stories, here is a nice collection (contribution by KevinS): https://archive.org/details/love00meargoog/page/n14
    1. There is no need to preclaim. Just record and submit a story with the requested information (in red below).
    2. New to recording? Please read our Newbie Guide to Recording!
    3. Once your story is submitted, please be on the lookout for your Proof Listeners notes, which if changes are required must be attended to for your story to be included in the catalog.[/color]

If this is your first recording, please let me know under which name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue. We can also link to a personal website/blog.[/b]

      Level of prooflistening requested: standard
Prospective Prooflisteners: Please read the Listeners Wanted FAQ before listening!

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Michele. I will move this to Readers Wanted now if you wish. Or wait another day if that is your preference.

I think we're good to go. My only concern is finding someone to PL sections in a foreign language. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. If you see anything I need to do please let me know.

'About Love' by Anton Chekhov (1860-1904)
PL Notes About Love
That is a darned sad story about unrequited love . . . . you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Pure Chekhov, and one I hadn't heard before? Nice, and thank you. Only thing I noticed was:

7:43 We were exhausted, I hear something like wrrgausted

Sometimes the Russians are too sad to read.
