Yes, it was down for maintenance.

McCarthy is always the anti-imperialist.

Section 19 PL OK

When I first started listening it sounded fuzzy and echoy. I was wearing headphones because my husband was following some chess tournament. Anyway after listening to it, I took off my headphones and listened with my PC speakers and it sounded like its usual perfection. I was starting to worry because I updated my Audacity yesterday.

Thanks, aniroo!

I hope both it and audacity are OK. I have to update soon due to crashes, but I dread it.

My best,

Pam

It seems to be working fine. Just my headphones were not optimal.

Hi aniroo,

Section 20 is up:

14:20

https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/historyofourowntimesvol3_20_mccarthy_128kb.mp3

Camillo Cavour was a genius of diplomacy and he had Lord Palmerston behind him. Together they tricked Louis Napoleon into chasing the Austrians out of Italy with English backing.

Section #20 is PL OK (of course)

I had to look up Cavour and see what he looked like. Pickwick indeed. :D

Looks like you are closing in on the half way mark. I don't work with anyone else who is so dedicated to finish a project and never with any loss of quality. :D
