Hi Pam,

Section 15 is PL OK. I admire the courage she displayed by volunteering for the smallpox hospital more than I can say. She's dropped off the radar a little bit compared to some of the other biographical subjects in this book; I'm glad she's getting an outing now.

Hi Pam,

Section 16 is PL OK. The illustrations aren't always the ones I was expecting. That one of Albert was dashing!

Hi Pam,

Section 17 is PL OK. What a fascinating section. The material is widely known (although I enjoyed the unexpected juxtaposition of a daydreaming Palmerston and a stern Gladstone), but what a contemporary historian thought was essential was tremendous - as it was with McCarthy on Gladstone.

I'm happy that this project can go out into the world now, but it feels as it's just started! I'm glad you found the Duke of Marlborough or I'd be at a complete loose end.

Congrats on finishing this fine book!

Thank you, Erin, for your enthusiastic help!!

It's a fine little book and I think Marlborough will be very good, too.

Nice to bring Louise Creighton back to life!

I will start the process tonight. But given how slow Archive is right now it will be sometime tomorrow before it is finally catalogued.
