18-19 PL OK

I guess I was overly optimistic about how quickly I could get this done.
I've put this on a calendar to due three sections per day, about an hour, and that comes out to about an hour each day. I'll try to keep up that pace for the next month. Some days may be more, some less, but I will keep at it.

Sounds good! I know this is not an easy listen for you... we do have a few Chinese (mandarin??) speakers here now who might be able to step in and listen to a few sections. Just holler if it's getting too much, okay!

I won't post an update on every section, but will update the MW.
We are now PL OK through Section 26.

Hi Larry,
Thanks, that's OK, so long as there is progress in the work, I am confident that it will be finished in a not too distant future.

On October 18, 2019, David has completed this recording after roughly 3 months of work. It's now exactly 5 months later, and it is it still in the proof listening stage. I do understand that this is a difficult project, but this kind of delay is not acceptable.

I have posted an ad in "Listeners Wanted" and am looking for additional prooflisteners for this project (preferrably those who speak at least one of the languages involved ;-) )

Thanks for your help! :D

Hello! I'd love to help out with PLing here. :)

I can start with the sections from the bottom so that we won't see any double-listening happening!

That's wonderful, thank you so much Yuqing!

I have added you to the database so you have access to the MW too.
Starting from the bottom seems the best idea!

Section 103 - See PL Notes

I may be nitpicking here, but the ~5 seconds of silence at the end of the recording is missing.

Otherwise, this is a wonderful piece of work. Thank you, David!

You would be most welcome!
I'm having a more difficult time with this than I anticipated.

Just one word. I am finding that most of these have more than the one second of silence at the beginning and less than the five seconds at the end. I've been adjusting this, and doing some noise cleaning, and uploading them. I don't know how critical these silences are in a solo production.

I need to update the MW to reflect my DPL progress.

Thanks.

Right, thanks for the advice! I'll do the same with the sections I proof-listen.
