My Chinese Marriage by Mae Franking ( - 0) and others.

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/my-chinese-marriage-by-mae-franking/
An American coed meets an international student from China and love blossoms. ( Danielle Cartwright)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/57382
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Spiffy, (I like that name) I would love to PL this. And I applaud your idea of keeping it under control - one chapter a week or so. That way, I hope, you won't get burned out and will have a long career at LV :D
I will be here no matter what rate you want to work at this. Cheryl

MW coming up.

edit: You might decide to split each chapter into two parts. Adding sections is easy but the intros and outros would be different. Your decision. Have fun.

Oh, thanks for doing this. I just saw your message (got a little busy) so we can just do the four sections. They are marvelously long, but all under 1 hour I think. Thanks, SC

Just noticed that the filename has a double underscore before the 128.

Glad you think it's interesting. It pains my feminist heart at times, but this was the early 1900s and so it is what it is. SC :)
