to quote myself: "when you have your file open, in the lower left corner you should see a drop-down menu called "Project Rate (Hz)". I predict that is set to 32,000, so simply click on the arrow and change it to 44,100. Then save and export again."

Well good thing you figured it out finally. Act 1 is now PL ok.

I will have a look at Act 2 later on, since I need to Spot check there. I trust you only corrected the notes I mentioned, no complete re-do ? ...stay tuned.

Oh awesome! Thank you so much! I read that post, but I must have forgot. You knew the whole time what I needed to do.

Can you orphan my parts? I am super busy with school starting.

Thanks for understanding,

Act 2

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/cynthiasrevels_narrator_2_128kb.mp3

2:48 with 5 seconds of silence between each entry.

I must have done this incorrectly as it was just too easy.

no sometimes it is just that easy ;) that's why I often say, it's easier to start with another act than act 1 because that one is more often the most difficult one. Here you were extremely lucky though, Ben Jonson doesn't give many stage directions. I just PLed two Pinero acts this morning and they were both between 30 and 45 minutes  Pinero is notorious for lengthy stage directions.

Well, you almost had a perfect run-through, nothing missing and you caught the "aside" which needed the name of the character tucked on.

I only found one tiny error at the very end, easily corrected though:

> at 2:33: "exeunt" - you can cut out "Mercury" here, "exeunt" means they all exit (it's the Latin plural)

other than that, nothing amiss found. Let's hope the others are just as short.

Thanks

Thank you. I thought as much about 'Mercury' but thought it would be easier to erase him than add him! Hahaha!

Here's the Citizen's Wife:

I could only find one "all" line, I hope I didn't miss any of them?

oh, the role was shorter than I first suspected. But excellently played  thank you so much. As for the ALL lines:

> after 1:07: there are still two ALL lines, but at this point the wife has left the stage, so I think she need not be included there :hmm:

> "We do."
> "Yes."

However I found another missing part: later on there is the chorus, which Todd mentioned in the MW to be done by the wife as well. That would be 11 times: "Good Mercury defend us." I can fully understand that you don't want to repeat this so many times  so once is probably enough, since it will anyway get merged with other voices, so I think subtle differences in cadences will not be noticed anyway.

also the volume is a bit low, 3 dB more would do the trick :)

thanks

yeah, I only saw that I was supposed to read the chorus upon uploading... I'll give you three or four versions - wouldn't want good mercury to be annoyed by too many requests...

Well, with Pinero stage directions in, could I read for a character?
I would like to take on the poetic Crites.

I found this wonderful page that gives in depths descriptions for each of the characters of this play: https://cord.ung.edu/jonscyn.html
