After you have made the corrections, upload the file as something like ss081_mortedarthur_kd_128kb.mp3 and post the new link in this thread. The file name needs to be all lower case, with no extra punctuation or symbols, and skipping words like “the” and “and”. There is no need to add the extra information about volume and chapters here as it’s for sorting purposes. Adding your initials is Librivox convention (you can add a middle initial or not as you choose) and, to be honest, that’s the least important part, so I don’t chase people up if they put something random there (looking at Dale here 8-) ) — but you might find others less forgiving on that.

I hope I got it right this time.
Thank you. It will work... but not quite right.
It should be the collection: ss081
Then the story name in one word e.g. mortedarthur
Then your initials
Then 128kb.mp3

Section 9 "Le Morte d'Arthur" PL Notes
The section at 8:40 is fixed, but the beginning and ending still need the updates I listed above.
Almost there :D

I believe this is the finished project.
Thank you.
It takes most readers a while to get comfortable with all the technicalities of recording plus the conventions of file-naming and uploading. And we were all new once.

I have a question my teacher wants to see the link to the publicly accessible version. How do I put the link up there?

Hi. Is this the text you used?

https://www.gutenberg.org/files/1251/1251-h/1251-h.htm

All the work on Project Gutenberg is publicly available and in the public domain.

The recording you did isn’t publicly accessible yet. Once we reach 20 submissions, I will catalogue the project and it will be available on internet archive. For now, it is a “work in progress”. These collections seem to take 4-6 weeks start to finish, but it depends on the rate of submissions.

Will I be able to hear my recording on Project Gutenberg since you said that it was available?

Your recording will be available on archive.org as soon as the collection is completed.

Would you like one someone to confirm that you made the recording to your teacher? That could probably be done.

No, Project Gutenberg is where we find written material (or a lot of it) to record.
Once the project is complete, I will post a link to our catalog page, where you will be able to listen or download it. There will also be a link to Internet Archive, who host our files. It will be publicly available via them.

Here is a link to our last collection, so you can get an idea of the format:

Unfortunately, I can't predict how long it will be until we're ready for cataloguing this collection. We keep going until we have 20 submissions and we currently have 9 -- but we can go days with nothing, then 6 in one day.
