...and another:
https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/ghohor034_mezzotint_james_ljb_128kb.mp3

Text: https://web.archive.org/web/20130508184734/http://www.classichorrorstories.com/texts/mezzotint.txt
Author: M. R. James
Title: "The Mezzotint"
Duration: 33:12

Note 1: I uploaded it twice because of a glitch the first time. The second upload is correct.

Note 2: At 4:16 and 6:58, I say "two guineas." The text shows something like "?2 2s" -- the symbols for two pounds, two shillings. In old English money, one pound + one shilling = one guinea. I have listened to a couple other recordings of this story, and the narrator says "two guineas" each time. So I said that also.

I hope it's OK...LJB

And YAY again! 😂
I have been having a lot of trouble trying to get ReplayGain onto the Audacity (sub)menu.
Still mired in the HELP forum about this... but meanwhile, we mickey-mouse our way onward.
Thank you...LJB 😎

Hi!
I did a recording of The Pale Man by Julius Long
Text URL: https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Weird_Tales/Volume_24/Issue_3/The_Pale_Man
MP3 URL: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/ghohor034_paleman_long_mm.mp3
Duration: 13:17
Story is from 1934 so it can't be used for Librivox - it has to be published before 1924. The wiki says that it's public domain but... Maybe Rapunzelina knows better than me ;-)

Hello and welcome to Librivox!
Gavenport is right. We can't use a post-1923 text, unless it's marked public domain on gutenberg.org because they have a legal team that checks PD status.

I read Banshees by Elliott O'Donnell:
https://web.archive.org/web/20130508184841/http://www.classichorrorstories.com/texts/banshees.txt
https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/ghohor034_banshees_odonnell_ss_128kb.mp3
The file is 10 minutes, 45 seconds.
Listing me as "Caesura" in the Librivox catalogue is fine with me; let me know if you need any other information.

Thanks!
Sam
