Chapter 5 PL notes:

Technical: Volume is low at 85.8dB (according to Checker). You should amplify by about 3.0dB.

@34:37: Missing phrase (in red): "… ordinary relations of the sexes would suffer were there no generally acknowledged codes of honor and conduct with regard to them, one then indeed sees that reasonable forms …"

@35:17: Repeat: "It is doubtful whether on the whole the merely physical attraction is not the stronger motive with the latter type." repeated @ 35:27

Thank you,

Thank you,
Thanks Don! I really appreciate your help with this chapter and throughout the book in general. The final chapter has been fixed and re-uploaded.

And with that, we should be done!

Thank you so much!

I hate to be a pain, but would it be okay to make a slight correction to the summary? I just noticed some weird syntax in the one I originally wrote:
Written in 1908 by socialist critic and gay rights activist Edward Carpenter, The Intermediate Sex is a thoughtful, humanizing, and frequently utopian treatise on homosexuality that defies some of the period's more stultifying notions about human sexuality. In it, Carpenter argues for the legitimization of “uranianism,” recounts the history of homosexuality from antiquity to present day, highlights the great social and aesthetic work done by Uranians, and outlines some of the transformative social effects that might occur from a greater acceptance of homosexuality. I've copied and pasted your quote. Definitely not a pain for me, I can change it however many times you'd like!
Everything else OK and the files play alright?
