I'd be happy to take on this section if it is still available.

Finally, I find out what happened to everybody! A surprise ending to a tortuous journey. I so love happy endings, and well read.

Just a few items:

1:57 missing sentence after "said Teddy, disconsolately; "I don't like this dreadful noise!
11:51 would you please include this footnote after "his sister's patronage and care". (where it is indicated in the text).
[4] These statements are all true of the Elgin settlement, founded by Mr. King, a gentleman who removed and settled his slaves in the south of Canada.
Done! Edits made and file re-uploaded. New running time is 14:16.

Uploaded Section 44 chapter 43

Appeals to the Declaration of Independence as a parallel to abolition.
Very cogent arguments.

PL Notes Section 44, Chapter 43

Overall volume is at 86.6, and some bits are so quiet, I recommend they be boosted first before an overall boost is given.
7:40 Where Harry was, and how he concealed, delete 'he'
21:49 he queried with himself, you say quared.

Once this is done, and a few housekeeping chores by me, this project is a wrap!

One last thing, Pete, RE 57.

Could you please add "End of Footnote at 12:04? That will be the final touch.

Tricia, could you let me know my keywords? They aren't showing in the Opening Post for some reason.

One keyword: "slavery"
How about let's add: anti-slavery, abolitionist, North Carolina, Virginia, maroon society, Civil War, lynch law, camp meeting, plantation life

And I have edited the summary, so be sure to use the latest edition. Thanks.

Still waiting for Pete. I will PM him in case he has unsubscribed.
