PL Notes Section 43, Chapter 42, The Result

Interesting chapter, well read. Stowe illustrated so well how what we don't experience, we have little empathy for. I was especially interested to learn that the Presbyterian Church was instrumental in making Sunday School popular in American churches. I thought Sunday School was an ancient institution.

All OK, except the OUTRO says end of Chapter 24

PL Notes Section 45, Chapter 44, The Result

Stowe zings in another insightful chapter re. man's long history of persecution and cruelty, and why the oppressed lean so heavily on the Old Testament and Revelations. You dramatize Dred well!

A few notes:
8:49 Teddy and Fanny, you say Franny
Outro: Since you are making another change, could you delete Dred from the Outro and just say "End of Chapter 44, The Desert"

I'm going to try to feed my squirrels this fall, using Dred's system!

Ok, Pete, 55 and 56 are PL OK. And my heart is pounding with excitement at the plot developments, and at your delivery too! Good job!
Just one left to go and you're done here, but I hope to see more of you around the LV playground.

PL Notes Section 51, Chapter 50, Engedi

You really dramatized Dred's part! It was awesome! Just a few notes:

Intro, should say Chapter 50
19:03 white spirits and black spirits, that contended in the air, you say contented
21:26 and the Lord hath laid on me, you say Lord layeth laid
21:58 Canema is pronounced like Canada, with an m (see First Post). This will make the pronunciation of Canema the same throughout the book.

Thank you, Greg. I know you are very busy. Good job, much appreciated.

PL Notes Section 57, Chapter 56, Flight

Finally, I find out what happened to everybody! A surprise ending to a tortuous journey. I so love happy endings, and well read.

Just a few items:

1:57 missing sentence after "said Teddy, disconsolately; "I don't like this dreadful noise!
11:51 would you please include this footnote after "his sister's patronage and care". (where it is indicated in the text).
[4] These statements are all true of the Elgin settlement, founded by Mr. King, a gentleman who removed and settled his slaves in the south of Canada.

As I seem to be the last holdout and am slammed with work at the moment, I'm gonna orphan my section (44 Ch. 43 The Slave's Argument) for the good of the project. Get it while it's hot!
