Thanks so much for your readings, Oliver; they were fluidly done!
All is PL OK, but I hope to help you by noting that I could hear many mouse clicks throughout your recordings.
They were not so loud as to be startling, but I did find myself anticipating them, which distracts just a touch from your narration.
As I discovered fairly early on, that mic picks up EVERYTHING, so in the future, you may wish to use your keypad to scroll down. (And then, you may have to delete THOSE noises in the background. *Laugh* No perfect solution, but I think using a slightly different method will help you get cleaner recordings.)
Again, thank you for contributing to this book!

No worries, of course, Melissa.
I have a new recording process ... and it is not going as well as I anticipated!
The truth is, I just can't bring myself to listen to my self FOUR times for edit, especially with the hour long pieces. *Botheration!*
That means I've been relying on the DPLer to catch misreads (as we saw here with my story), which means I have to tweak my process again.
(And if that ONE thing is the ONLY thing I've heard from you in 4 or 5 recordings, the you Are Doing Well Indeed!)
Ah well, it leads back to your point ... Prooflisteners are TRULY valuable, and I'm glad I can help!
*Much Love!*

Wonderfully done, Larry!
Your voice works perfectly for this.
I'm so pleased you enjoyed it; it is evident, sir. *Smile*
Perfectly PL OK!
Many thanks,

Thank you for Section 12, Ali!
I have no notes that Require correction!
I didn notice something in the Prooflistening. You don't need to fix it for this, but for future consideration/reference!
Part II starts at 6:32. The sound is noticeably different than the first part, and I'm wondering if you recorded in a different environment; the first part sounds "hollow" while the rest is very clear. Something changed there, though I'm not bet on the cause.
The change didn't deeply impact the listening, but it's something to be aware of in the future to gain greater sound consistently and so a best recording.
Also ... I Very Much Liked the Vocals you did for the Baby Frog!
You entertained me; thanks for your contribution.
Regards,

Ohh, sorry, Ali!
I wrote my notes late last night, but didn't throughly go over them until this evening. I thought I remembered everything.
So, not trying to overly-critique you, but I also noted that
the technical specs for the recording are also a bit off: bitrate ~122 kb and variable (should be 128 kb and constant) also the sampling rate 48,000 Hz (should be 44,100 Hz). That may have affected your sound.
So, I'm sorry, but will have to ask you to correct that. It really matters when everything is pieced together in final production, so we appreciate the re-do to LV standard recording specs.
Please feel free to ask questions if you have them.
David, I, or SOMEBODY around will be happy to help you.

Hi, Angelique.
No worries. I totally understand, and I appreciate the input. I recorded the first part inside the bathroom with the mic clipped on my collar; the rest was recorded in my living room with the mic close to my face.
I'll correct the specs and re-upload the file in a bit.
Thanks.
