I would like to claim sections 11 and 13.

My screen name is from one of the stories read to my children quite often, "Too Many Daves" by Dr. Seuss. My kids are grown, so now I read to everyone and no one.

Thanks for your recording, David. Always good to hear voices with which I'm unfamiliar.

And all sections are assigned, moving this one over to "Readers Found".

Here is the first story. It's a bit low in volume but I think loud enough.

Thanks, Phil, for your contribution.
Chapter 1 is PL OK ... with the exception that it ends with 3 seconds of silence instead of the standard 5.
If this will not create a JUMP to the next section (as has been explained to me), great!
If there will be some resultant tech oddity, then please change it.
I shall leave it to your expertise to so decide.

Regards!

Oh I will definitely add some more silence and upload it again, no problem. I just happened to have a large pot of high quality silence left over from another recording and can easily put it in. (it's from my original "Great Thoughts I Have Had in the Bathtub" series  )

OK, Chapter 1 has been uploaded again and is ready for spot check. About the end silence, I've never heard the theory that too little may make a 'jump' to the next section. That may be true but it's news to me. Live and learn eh? Image

Hi, Phil.
Thank you for the correction ... but ... I don't see it here.
Am I missing something?

I've been asked several times to ensure there are 5 seconds of silence at the end, as less will often result in the next recording coming in abruptly.
I pass along the information/request as passed to me. *Smile*
I'll be happy to spot check your recording when we find it.
