great job, Brad. Already I can see that Lucio will be a bit more the boisterous bragging type again. You're excelling in those.

1.2. is PL ok but there's a missed line in 1.4.

> at about 0:06: Lucio [within]. Ho! Peace be in this place!

thanks. As soon as I get this line, this scene can get assembled as well. If you wish you can assemble it straight away, the rest of Lucio 1.4. is PL ok. Then I can PL the entire scene in one go. But if you don't have time right now, I can also do the editing later on.

I finally had some time to get a little more done. Here is the correction to Lucio 1_4 as well as 2_2.

https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/measureformeasure_lucio_1_4.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/measureformeasure_lucio_2_2.mp3

For the "within" line in 1_4 I did my usual trick of moving the microphone away from my mouth.
I noticed a typo as well. I was suspicious of Lucio's line, "Yon had marr’d all else" as "yon" made no sense. I suspected it was correctly "you" and I checked another online text, plus an actual book copy of the text that I have here. "You" is correct, so I read it that way.
Lucio is a pompous fop in most of the play, but here he is honestly trying to do the right thing by encouraging Isabella on.

thank you Brad, yes I think this will do. Both scenes PL ok and I can proceed to edit 1.4. soon !

Great work, Sonia! A very tense finale for this act, with a lot happening. Your dialogue with Brad is really well-done. No doubt it's PL OK.

I see no one has checked in in about a week! I guess we're all very busy these days.

Here are two more Lucio scenes. Now I have only the long final scene.

https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/measureformeasure_lucio_4_3.mp3

I've always felt his bit in 4_3 seemed a bit tacked on. My theory is that Shakespeare was writing the final scene and realized he needed a comical punishment for Lucio and decided on forcing him to marry a prostitute he had impregnated. Then he decided he needed to hint that way in an earlier scene, and so he added the bit in 4_3.

 yes could well be. Even though, Shakespeare often insert such small-talk during the play, snippets which later become meaningful for the plot. At least that way we know why the Duke knows this in the end. Lucio really doesn't know when to shut up.

Scene 3.2. is already PL ok

one small note for 4.3.

> at 0:19: “I am fain to dine and sup with water and bran” – I hear “die”, could you check this out please ? :hmm:

thanks

oho !!!! you started with the biggest role  and a brilliant job so far. I loooove this "serious" voice you're putting on here. What a treat to think I'll have a lot more of that to listen to throughout the play. :9:

Only one small correction here:

> at 1:47: ’twere all alike as if we had them not – you say “and”, which slightly changes the meaning, I think :hmm:

I wonder at these multiple dots in the beginning, was some part of the text missing here ?

BTW the voice credits should all go in a separate file ;) just rattle them all off like this:

> Vincentio, the Duke, (each time with "read by Craig Franklin")
> second gentleman.
> a justice.
> Froth, a foolish gentleman.
> Abhorson, an executioner.
> servant to angelo.

thanks for this really good start, Craig. 8-)

Correction to 1-1 uploaded. I think that the dots are regarding some conflicts in the interpretations by various re writes of the script. I have just removed the pause to make sense of it. Hope that is OK.

Have fun.

OH....and voice credits.
